Fun facts, and a few good reasons to love Bluetooth 5…
Bluetooth 5 (5.0 to 5.3, the most recent) Vs. Bluetooth 4.2 (the common last-gen version):
- More data: 2MBps for Bluetooth 5.x, compared to 1MBps for Bluetooth 4.2
- More devices: 2 headsets or speakers can (finally) connect to one Bluetooth 5.x source for a shared experience
- More distance: 4x the distance, actually!
- More responsive: 3x less “latency” (delay) means phone calls sound more like you’re really there
